CHILDCARE IN CLARKSBURG, MD

My goal is to provide the best loving care and education for your child in this first 5 years of their life! I have two professions, one is taking care of children, and the other is a profession in the medical field. Both professions allow me to work with children and provide love and care! I truly enjoy talking and playing with each child, and meeting his or her physical and emotional needs.  Your child will be treated as the unique kid they are and be able to thrive and develop in my daycare. 

My curriculum identifies goals in all areas of development

• Activities: will be planned for the children individually and will all be geared towards accomplishing my previously stated goals.
• The daily routine:  Indoor and outdoor time is planned to provide a balance of activities that encourage children to learn thorough play. 
• Learning: Encouraging children to be active and creative explorers who are not afraid to try out their ideas and learn through adventures. 
• Independence: I will encourage children to become independent by allowing them to do things in their own way, this will help to explore their creative minds!

Let kids be kids! Let them play, have fun, stay safe, be loved, and be secure so they develop trust in everyone.

PHILOSOPHY

Children learn best by action!

In their early years, children explore the world around them by using all their senses (i.e., touching, tasting, listening, smelling and looking).

In time, children learn to use one object to represent another. This is the beginning of symbolic thinking. This exciting development takes place during the pre-school years as children play.

Play: Provides the foundation for academic/ school learning. It is the preparation children need before they learn highly abstract symbols such as letters and numbers.

Play enables us to achieve the key goals of our early childhood curriculum.

To have fun and play is the work of young children.
